About Bangkok Language School
We teach Thai, Chinese and English to foreigners living in Bangkok, and we file the Education Visa that lets them stay legally for up to 14 months. Certified teachers, textbooks we wrote ourselves, a certificate at the end.
That is genuinely the whole of it. Most of this page is about what we don’t do, because in a category this full of visa mills, that is the part actually worth reading.
What this place is
A language school
that also does the visa.
Three languages, taught in English, to adults who have already decided to be in Bangkok. Some come to learn and stay legally. Some come for the visa and end up learning. Both get the same classes.
Certified teachers
The people in front of the class are certified to teach. That is the claim we can stand behind, so it is the only one we make about them.
Our own textbooks
Written in-house rather than licensed in, which is why the vocabulary matches what a foreigner in Bangkok actually needs to say.
A certificate at the end
Finish the course and you leave with a certificate of completion carrying the school name on it.
The visa, filed by us
We file the Education Visa ourselves, as your school. It is not farmed out to an agent standing between you and immigration.

A visa agency
We are a school. The visa exists because the course does, not the other way round.
IELTS, TOEFL or TOEIC preparation
We teach practical, everyday language on our own programmes. Exam coaching is not what this is.
Partnered with a testing organisation
No affiliation with any of them, so nobody should arrive expecting an official test sitting.
A source of student ID cards
We do not issue them. If somebody told you an ED Visa comes with one, they were wrong.
A source of residence certificates
Those come from an embassy or from immigration. We issue a Certificate of Study, and we make no promises about what a bank or a licence office will do with it.
Offering study-only rates, at present
The focus is students who need the visa. Lessons without one are handled by a separate team.

How the
teaching works.
No cohort to wait for and no entrance test to pass. You tell us where you are, and you start in the class that matches.

Join at any level, at any time
Beginner and advanced classes run concurrently rather than in a single cohort that has already left without you. Whichever one fits is already running.
- Material
Textbooks we wrote ourselves
Built around what a foreigner in Bangkok actually has to say at the market, at the bank and at immigration, rather than adapted from a general course written for somewhere else.
- Language
Taught in English
Every course, including the Chinese one, is taught through English. If English is not the language you think in, that is worth knowing before you enrol.
- Finish
A certificate of completion
Finishing the levels early does not end anything. The enrolment covers the duration you bought, and you leave with a certificate carrying the school name.
The Education Visa
We file it
ourselves.
Enrolling on a course qualifies you for Education Visa support, filed by the school rather than routed through an agent. On the applications we file, the approval rate is 99.9%.
Said plainly: the course runs the full 8, 12 or 14 months and the school fee covers it. The stamp is issued in 2 to 3 month blocks and renewed at immigration, in person, the same way it works at every ED Visa school in Thailand. Nobody is hiding a shorter number behind a bigger one.
